The 4th Annual Trenton MLK Dream Week

Martin Luther King, Jr. took hold of the freedoms promised by our nation's founding fathers and used his constitutional rights when he made his speech and developed his dream. By taking action on his dream.

 Dr. King was able to change the future of men, women and children, and impact so many aspects of our current society. It is this spirit that inspired us to continue the theme for 2018 MLK Dream Week as: "Unfolding The Dream."

The 4th Annual MLK Dream Week, is a community-wide effort designed to honor the memory of Dr. King. We encourage dreamers of our community to pursue their desired goals to positively change the future.

The mission of MLK Dream Week is to honor Dr. King's legacy through a collaboration of community leaders, business executives, civic organizations and academic institutions to encourage and implement scholarships/ educational opportunities, positive recreational activities, cultural diversity and acceptance, community service and other values that represent Dr. King.


We all benefit from the accomplishments of those who came before us and of those around us today. Together we can dream bigger and create change. 2018 MLK Dream Week will kick-off on Monday, January 15th, 2018 and end on Sunday, January 21th 2018, in Trenton. Place: The Conservatory Mansion and Trenton and Friendship Baptist Church

This event is designed to allow the community to give reverence to the ideas of Dr. King, by challenging them to adopt the same attitude of having a dream and pursuing it.
